2011


  1. -The first annual Institute of Navigation’s Autonomous Snowplow Competition was held in January 2011 at the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. It was a very successful event, with six college teams participating.


2010


  1. -A new version of Orbitus ED, an orbit visualization MATLAB tool, is released. This
    version 1.1 provides additional capabilities and tools.


  1. -Our CEO, Dr. Suneel I. Sheikh, helps create and develop the Institute of Navigation’s Autonomous Snowplow Competition. The first event for this competition is held in
    January 2010 at the Saint Paul Winter Carnival.


2009


  1. -Our CEO, Dr. Suneel I. Sheikh, was chosen by GPS World magazine as part of their
    50 GNSS Leaders to Watch. His Ph.D. advisor, Professor Darryll J. Pines, was also selected for this prestigious recognition.


2008


  1. -Our CEO, Dr. Suneel I. Sheikh, and Daedalus Flight Systems colleague, Dr. Paul Samuel, are featured in a University of Maryland Diamondback article on aerospace engineering alumni founding research companies

  2. -Current research in the area of spacecraft navigation using X-ray sources is presented in the Institute of Navigation Winter 2007-2008 newsletter.
